2. Data Stored on Your Device

All data created within PDF Reader+ is stored locally on your device only:

• PDF files you open
• Highlighter markup and annotations
• OCR-extracted text (highlights)
• Reading progress and last page position
• App settings (dark mode, language)

This data never leaves your device and is not accessible to us.

3. In-App Purchases

PDF Reader+ offers an optional one-time in-app purchase (Pro upgrade) processed entirely through Apple's App Store. We do not have access to your payment information. Apple's privacy policy applies to all purchase transactions.

Purchase status is stored securely on your device using Apple's secure storage.

4. OCR (Text Recognition)

PDF Reader+ uses on-device OCR (ML Kit) to recognize text in highlighted areas. All text recognition is performed locally on your device. No images or text are sent to external servers.

5. Children's Privacy

PDF Reader+ does not knowingly collect any information from children under the age of 13. The app does not contain any features that collect personal data from any users.
